PDP NWC Moves Against Femi Fani-Kayode

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  has asked the Osun state chapter of the party to determine the membership and financial status of the former Minister of Aviation and Director of Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign, Femi Fani kayode.

Fani-Kayode had on Tuesday alleged that the NWC members led by Mu'azu was responsible for PDP’s massive failure.

He said, "Instead of leading the party, these few individuals in the NWC were busy doing deals with the APC secretly. We in the PCO were not like others that were collecting monies from all the various PDP aspirants in the states and promising them the party’s nomination and ticket.

Mu'azu, Anenih Cave To Pressure

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu and the Board of Trustees Chairman, Chief Tony Anenih, on Wednesday bowed to pressure from key members of the party to resign.

Mu’azu, in a letter he tendered during the PDP National Working Committee meeting in Abuja however cited “health grounds ” as the reason for his resignation.

But Anenih, in a one-page letter   to President Goodluck Jonathan, hinged his action on the current state of affairs in the party.

Mu’azu, a former governor of Bauchi State, had only last week dismissed calls for his resignation and warned that the PDP would be buried if he succumbed to the pressure.

Upon receipt of Muazu’s   letter, the Deputy National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, took over as the acting national chairman of the party, pending a replacement from the North-East, where the party chairmanship is zoned to.

Information reaching us according to  one Mr. Henri Obiazi’s facebook page where he alleged that this woman identified as Hon. Munirat Adedoyin, a former Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government in Lagos, who is also said vying for the Chairmanship position of the same Local Government was allegedly caught recently in the act of attempting to use a child for ritual as depicted in the picture above.

According to the post by Mr. Henry Obiazi, “Mrs.Munirat Adedoyin. She is the former Deputy Chairman of Ikorodu local Government Area. She is about to contest for the position of the Chairman of the local government. She was caught in the act by some good ‘samaritans’ and the information and the photographs were passed to security agencies.”

Ecowas Leaders Hail Jonathan

Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, yesterday showered praises on President Goodluck Jonathan, saying he would occupy a special place in the history of the sub-region for his state’s manly behavior, by conceding defeat at the recently concluded presidential election in Nigeria.

Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and President of Ghana, John Mahama, who led other leaders to praise President Jonathan during his opening address at the 47th Ordinary Session of the Authority, yesterday in Accra, Ghana noted that the success of the Nigerian election as well as that of Togo had sent a strong message to the world that the ECOWAS protocol on democracy and good governance was working.

FG Receives Country Self-Assessment Report

THE Federal Government has received the country self-assessment report by the National Steering Committee on the second Peer Review of Nigeria.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim, received the report in Abuja, on Tuesday.

This was as the Federal Government announced that activities for the 2015 presidential inauguration will hold from Friday, May 22, through Friday, May 29. 

SGF while receiving the report of the Country self-assessment,  commended the Chairman and members of the National Steering Committee for successfully completing their assignment, even in the face of challenges.

Inspiration 303- Beliefs That Hold's You Back From Reaching The Top

 This afternoon, i was just thinking about different thing and words that have been said to me, beliefs i have held to heart poor fully thinking they are right.

A good number of us, have the same kinda issue, we hold so many wrong beliefs at heart and think we can't grow outta them and more. Here's the good news, we can grow outta those negative beliefs we have or we allow people have about us.

Here are those most common beliefs we see our self coaching which are wrong.

1. All my family members and friends must approve of my goals- Most of us grow grew up with the believe that our life (what we would be) should depend on someone or fulfill the expectation of others. Rather than being taught to ask ourselves who we are, we are expected to ask others for permission to become who we want to be and when they don't agree even when that's what you really love, you let go of that dream. 

It is time to unlearn these lies and make changes. It takes courage to grow wiser and become who you really are. Never depend on anyone to approve of what you will or should or are to become. They never created you, so you should not even ask for their permission. its good to seek advice but when it seems like they are killing the dream with negative words, then its time to back off.

2. Haters are right about me-  Don't let bullies, proud or rude people ruin you. No matter how much negativity is thrown at you by others, there is absolutely no need for you to stay put and partake in the decay they choose for their own lives. YOU decide how you want to grow.

What people say and do to you is much more about them, than you. I am not saying we should ignore all feedback, but then, so much hurt, disappointment and sadness in our lives comes from our taking things personally.  It is more productive and healthy to let go of other people's good and bad opinion of you and operate with your own intuition and wisdom as your guide.

Trust in yourself alone. Begin to soar higher.

Jega Expresses Fear Over Reconstitution Of New INEC Leadership

The Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, on Thursday expressed fear over the yet-to-be constituted new leadership of the commission to consolidate on the gains of the post 2015 elections after stepping down next month.

The INEC boss, who was represented by the commission’s, Director, Elections and Party Monitoring, Mr. Sheu Wahab, said INEC had done well in restructuring the electoral process in Nigeria, but noted that it would be very easy for what had been achieved to be reversed by the incoming members if the country got it wrong on the new leadership.

GEJ Has Not Given Me Any Useful Tips-Buhari

President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has accused the outgoing Goodluck Jonathan government, of not giving him “tips” on how to kick-start his administration on May 29.

He spoke on Thursday, when a committee from the   Centre for Human Security, of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, presented a five-point policy document to him at the Buhari Support Organisation office in Abuja.

Hours before the event which held behind closed doors, the All Progressives Congress, insisted   that the Federal Government was not cooperating with the transition committee set up by the President-elect.

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has told the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that he would return stronger to help rebuild the party after taking a short break outside the country with his family.

The President urged the leadership, stakeholders, leaders, elders and members of the PDP to put behind them the defeat the party suffered during the March 28 presidential election where it lost to the All Progressives Congress, APC, after 16 years in power and build the party for future elections.

Professor Asked Student To Strip Naked In Other To Pass Exam-Photo

Its not only Nigeria that Lecturers ask student to lie with them before they pass an exam. 

 According to WWWN, Parents in California, are angry after they learned that a professor required female students to perform in the unclad before passing their final exam. However, officials from UC San Diego, defended the art teacher who told his students to do their final exam in the unclad.  The mother of one student said that professor Ricardo Dominguez forced her daughter to undress or she risk failing the class. The mother also said that a general requirement for students to be unclad to pass the class made her sick to her stomach. Officials denied that indecency is a requirement to pass the class, saying that students can perform the unclad gestures without removing their clothes.
