LOST OPPORTUNITIES ARE SOMETIMES ESCAPE ROUTES

blogHave you ever missed an opportunity to do something you have been thinking a lot about and you felt missing the opportunity means you can't regain it again or it means you have missed on that particular thing you have been having in mind. well, I want us to start rethinking on lost opportunities. Not all lost blessings or opportunities are bad or mean bad, some are an escape route for us without us knowing. We complain, cry, and ask God why he made us miss out on the opportunity without us asking why it happened. we are quick to query God, ask questions and cry to him without having a second thought about it. We do not think if missing the opportunity is a blessing in disguise or God trying to avert a problem for you.
I recently read a story online and decided to write on it and share as well so we can all understand and begin to have a rethink on missed opportunity and not totally feeling like God doesn’t like us when opportunities are lost. So, here goes the story:

REBECCA’S PARENTING STYLE

parenting-style1
What kind of parent are you? What style of parenting are you exhibiting or imbibing? Check your self and check your children.
Few weeks ago, my friends and I were discussing about life and then we found ourselves going into the Bible to find examples of different kinds of people and the life they lived. Using the Bible to get examples led us into talk on Jacob and Esau as well as the role their parents played in shaping their lives. While we were discussing, one of my friends made note on the role Rebecca played in the life of her boys and that was when the idea to write on “Rebecca’s parenting style” came in.

WHAT ARE YOU USING YOUR TONGUE FOR.... GOOD OR EVIL?

When God made us, he gave us power to tramp over serpent and scorpion, over everything he made and created, but we humans have used our mouth to speak evil into ourselves. Some people would wake up and the next thing is to curse of speak evil into our life and that of our family. Here’s a story of Iya Bimpe and her children and how they used their tongue to almost destroy their lives.
Iya Bimpe a mother of four is the queen mother of using her tongue to destroy her family.10 years before now, when her four children were young, she would at the slightest mistake of the children begin to curse and speak evil into the life of the children and even their generations.
