Know The Name Of Your Meat..... Not Every Meat is Called Beef

How many of know that its not all the meat that are called beef. Most people call virtually all the types of meat beef. While i was reading online to know the names of some of these meats, i read about the story of a man and a waitress

Man- i want rice, plantain and meat

Waitress- Ok. sir, what kind of meat

Man- what type of question is that. Meat is meat na. give me one jare

Waitress- looking confused.  said sir, we have different kind of meat even pork

Man- very angry said why would you put pork? is pork a meat? we have goat and cow meat.. 

This is the story of many of us. We don't know that all these animals have different meat name. chicken turkey and all have meat name. so, when you ask for meat, you have to specify the name. and its not all that are called BEEF.  BEEF is another mistake most of us make. everything we see we call beef. beef is only for cow and bull.

These are the names of the animals we eat. they have their meat name and beef is not their general name neither is meat. learn their names and use it frequently so u can get used to them.
