Following the trend Oba of Lagos has set yesterday, Nollywood Prolific Filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan followed the trend by raising the issue of piracy and narrowing it to the Igbos. In his words, he said God will punish Igbo business men affiliated to film industry who are responsible for the pirated copies of Nollywood films, which has affected producers financially.
Waking this morning however, top producer and actress, Uche Jumbo-Rodriguez said that piracy is not tribal thing, as every filmmaker is affected and sad about it. Tongues should not be lashed to a particular tribe, Uche urged everyone to fight and win the war against piracy.
