Pictures from the Showbiz Interactive Session Organised By Nollywood Actors


 We are ready to die for Nigeria says Nollywood actors.  This statement was made on behalf of Nollywood artiste by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria,  Ibinabo Fiberesema at the Showbiz Interactive session yesterday with President Jonathan.The event which took place at the Eko hotel had in attendance American RnB star, Ruben Studdars, Onyeka Onwenu, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Ras Kimono, Timi Dakolo, In Edo, Duncan Mighty, and many more.  Presentations were made by comedians and music artistes, who also had the opportunity of meeting with the president and asking relevant question regarding their industry.

Toyin Aimaku's husband, Adeniyi Johnson asked that the entertainment industry be moved from the Ministry of Information to Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Other questions asked revolved around piracy.

To grace the show more, Nollywood stars led by Ibinabo Fiberesima wore Military outfits to show solidarity to the Nigerian troops fighting Boko Haram. The stars chantes "Never again" after which they took the National anthem.

The Nigerian Defence has since took to the twitter to appreciate the "Nollywood troops" for their show of solidarity, urging them to produce a movie titled "Never Again"
