Lagos is one of the smallest states but the most populated in Nigeria. If you are a daily regularly user of the road, i means you are practically always on the road every hour, you will notice this. Sitting on top of bus if not a new thing, but sitting on a moving train??? I guess the state has more than it can harbor.
It is becoming a thing of common sight to witness train passengers sitting on top of a moving train in Lagos. Little investigation has revealed that passengers sometimes might not have transport fare, and will prefer to seat on top of the train instead of walking long distance.
It was equally disclosed that such squatters regularly fight with train coordinators, who usually warn them of the dangers of sitting on top a speeding train.
What do you think can be done to reduce poverty and over population in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
