Well, our president has come up with another promise after several others he has made and are yet to be fulfilled. the recent promise is that Nigerian Universities would be among the top best universities in the world in the next four years if he is re-elected.
The statement was made yesterday in Abuja at the Presidential Debate Organised by the Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG). In his word, he said
“We all feel bad that no Nigerian university was ranked but we are working seriously to change the trend. We have equipped most of our universities through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). We are talking about infrastructure that has failed over the years but with the way we are going, in the next four years our universities will compete with other universities across the world,’’ he said.Do you believe this promise???
