Award winning Nollywood film director and producer, Dickson Iroegbu who decamped from Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, just started a new political party; Young Democratic Party YDP along side with other concerned youths. As at yesterday, TheFederal High court seating in Abuja ruled that YDP has been included in the 2015 general elections.
Iroegbu is planning to join the presidential race under YDP, although consultations are still on going, while waiting for INEC to officially activate the court ruling of yesterday.
Confirming the latest development, Iroegbu stated, "With the happenings now in the polity, I believe God has heard the cry of many Nigerians for Change and we will represent that truly and only positive Change if given the opportunity to serve our motherland.
"The young people are awaiting patiently for a motivation, and we are asking Nigerians to give the youth a chance as they did in the 1960s, 70s and the 1980s. I will run for President if my party gives me the ticket," he concluded.
