To those who never believed Jesus once lived on earth, this might make you change your mind.
An archaeologists who is currently working in Nazareth, Israel, has identified a house that has a connection to the first century which was regarded as the place where Jesus was brought up. In a review written by professor Ken Dark at the University Of Reading in UK, the house was first uncovered in 1880 by nuns at the Sisters of Nazareth Convent. Later in 2006, the house that was that was turned into graveyard after Jesus family moved out, was made of mortar and stone walls, but was cut into a rocky hillside and restructured to a series of rooms with doorway.
The researcher believes that that the house was turned into a graveyard after the Jesus family moved out, then there was a church built on top. “Was this the house where Jesus grew up? It is impossible to say on archaeological grounds. On the other hand, there is no good archaeological reason why such an identification should be discounted,” Dark writes.
