Following the APC unlawful presidential campaign fund raising platform, shutdown, A Federal High Court in Lagos presided Justice Ibrahim Buba has on Tuesday 24th March ordered the Nigerian Communications Commission and Etisalat, MTN Nigeria Limited, Globacom Limited, Airtel Nigeria Limited, Visafone Communications Limited to pay the All Progressives Congress APC N500 million.
APC took to the case to court in January due to the commission disapproving their platform and approving the PDP's platform. Justice Buba said APC's position was protected by the constitution with regards to pushing for its fundamental rights once it is violated.
