The Council of state meeting will be holding today at the State House, Abuja, and to the dismay of many, Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi has confirmed his attendance. Recall that Amaechi has not attended the meeting since he had misunderstanding with President Goodluck Jonathan.
Amaechi took to twitter to announce his interest in the meeting, “I will attend the Council of State meeting. I will oppose any agenda to postpone the elections. The plot will fail. Nigerians want CHANGE”.
The council is made up of of the President, the Vice-President, all ex-Heads of State, all former Chief Justices of Nigeria, the President of the Senate, all state governors and the Attorney-General of the Federation.
