Senate President David Mark said yesterday that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the most trusted political party, describing it as a development-driven platform that has brought progress in the country.
Mark stated this in Oju and Obi local government areas of Benue State during the flag off of his senatorial re-election campaigns. He said that enhancing physical development is his priority.
According to him, the entire people of the Benue south senatorial district have confidence in him as demonstrated by voting him into the Senate and that he would not jettison the trust bestowed on him but would promote human and physical development in the area.
“The ruling PDP is the most tested and trusted party that has brought rapid development to the people. And so the angels coming under the guise of opposition have nothing to offer, they should not deceive you and make sure you all vote for the PDP,” Mark stated.
He insisted that he would focus more on the development of education in Igede land; negotiate for the re-opening of the College of Education Oju, and enhance creation of additional employment opportunities for the teeming youths.
Mark stated further that he would, if re-elected, boost commercial agriculture, promote young men and women in various sporting activities and alleviate poverty among others.
